simPRO Version 2.0 Integration with LANA Software
1. Enhanced Communication Features
Messaging Capabilities: Users can now send messages directly to three key contact types within LANA, enabling seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle:
Customer Contact
Site Contact
Primary Contact
2. Synchronization of simPRO Custom Fields
Custom Field Syncing: Integration enables the synchronization of custom fields from simPRO to LANA, ensuring essential, tailored data points are consistently available and up-to-date. This alignment of custom fields allows businesses to store unique data that suits their specific processes and customer requirements without duplicating entry efforts between platforms.
3. Expanded Data Sync for Leads, Quotes, Jobs & Invoices
Detailed Data Import for Key Project Components: The integration supports comprehensive data syncing from simPRO to LANA, capturing vital details across leads, quotes, jobs, and invoices to support more informed decision-making and better resource management.
For Leads, Jobs, and Quotes:
Name, Number, Total Amount, Stage, and Tags for tracking and categorizing.
Cost Centre (for Job & Quote).
simPRO Site Addresses
For Invoices:
Invoice Metadata: Fields such as Date Issued, Due Date, Total Ex Tax, Total in Tax, Tax Amount, Balance Due, Is Paid status, and Invoice Description.
Stage, Type, Invoice Status, Invoice Number, and Invoice Job Number
Customer Data Sync:
Customer Group, Customer Profile Type, and Customer Tags provide added classification and segmentation of customers, allowing users to target groups more precisely within workflows. These details can be used as a filter or condition for workflows.
Quote Link (Future Update): Planned update to include direct links to simPRO quotes within LANA for immediate reference, promoting ease of access and document sharing.
4. Invoice Integration in Workflows
Workflow-Enabled Invoices: Invoices synced from simPRO can now be used within LANA’s workflow automation. Users can set up automated follow-ups, payment reminders, and status updates based on invoice data, making it easier to streamline follow-up and other messaging and keep customer accounts up-to-date without manual tracking in LANA.
5. Handling Multiple Quotes and Invoices
Separate Opportunity Creation: The integration intelligently manages scenarios where multiple quotes and invoices are generated for a single customer or project by creating separate opportunities for each within LANA. This ensures that each quote and invoice is independently tracked and managed, providing clear visibility into each potential sale and financial transaction. By treating each quote and invoice as distinct opportunities, businesses can:
Enhance Tracking and Management: Monitor the progress and status of each quote and invoice separately, allowing for more precise follow-ups and engagement strategies.
Improve Reporting and Analytics: Gain detailed insights into the performance of individual opportunities, facilitating better forecasting and strategic decision-making.
Streamline Workflow Automation: Set up tailored workflows for each opportunity, ensuring that specific actions and notifications are triggered based on the unique status and requirements of each quote or invoice.
Optimize Resource Allocation: Allocate resources more effectively by understanding the distinct needs and stages of each opportunity, leading to improved operational efficiency.
