New Update: Selecting a Phone Number for SMS Messages in LANA Software Conversations
This update introduces more control over selecting phone numbers when sending SMS messages in LANA
Software’s Conversations module. You can now choose the most relevant number for each message, making your communications more efficient and tailored.

How to Select a Phone Number for SMS
Open the Conversations Module: Go to the Conversations module and select the SMS tab in the message composer to begin composing your message.
Choose a “From” Number: Click on the From number dropdown to see available numbers.
- By default, the last used number for the contact will be selected.
- Each number displays a friendly name, assigned user, and tags indicating whether it’s the default number or the last used number.
- If no previous conversation exists, the default number is pre-selected.
Choose a “To” Number:
- If the contact has multiple numbers, use the dropdown next to the To field to select the correct recipient number.
- If no previous conversation exists, the primary contact number will be selected by default.
