LANA Chat Widget Updates!
We’re excited to share the latest updates to the LANA Chat Widget, designed to enhance how you connect with your leads:
Live Chat Widget Operational Business Hours
- Business Hours Activation: You now have the option to set business hours for your Live Chat Widget. When outside of business hours, the chat widget form will automatically appear, allowing leads to reach out via the LANA Chat Widget form.
To enable business hours:
1. Go to "Sites" and select Chat Widget from the top menu.
2. Choose the chat widget you'd like to set business hours for, click the 3 dots icon and click edit.
3. Next, click on Chat Window and select the option to enable Business Office Hours. You’ll see a box where you can enter an after-hours message, as shown in the screenshot below.
4. Just below the after-hours message box, you can set your specific days and times for operational office hours.
To add additional operational hours, click the + icon, which lets you split hours as needed. You can also easily copy hours from one day to others by clicking the Copy icon, which provides the option to apply the same hours to multiple days.
LANA Chat Widget Form Update
The LANA Chat Widget Form now supports additional custom fields, allowing you to collect more tailored information from your leads. You can now add up to 5 custom fields in the form.
Previously limited to Name, Phone, Email Address, and Message fields, the LANA Chat Widget Form can now be customized to include more fields that better suit your business needs.
Use Cases:
- Lead Qualification: Add custom fields to gather qualifying details from leads.
- Service Inquiry: Include a field to ask leads which specific service they are interested in.
- Location-Based Filtering: Add a custom field for leads to enter their zip code, making it easier to identify if they fall within your serviceable area.
How to Customize Your LANA Chat Widget
Create or Confirm Your Custom Field
Before adding a custom field to your LANA Chat Widget Form, ensure the field already exists. Follow this guide for instructions on creating or checking a custom field.Edit the Chat Widget Form
Navigate to Sites, click on Chat Widget in the top menu, and select the three dots icon to edit the specific LANA Chat Widget Form you’re using on your website.Add Custom Fields
In the Chat Window section, select the drop-down for Title & Intro. This will bring up Contact Form Options—click the box to add custom fields and other information to your LANA Chat Widget Form.
Note: Only text-based custom fields can be added to your Chat Widget Form. Dropdown-type custom fields are not supported. The LANA Chat Widget Form allows a maximum of 5 fields.
This update offers more flexibility, helping you better engage and understand your leads from the start.
