Call Connect is an innovative workflow feature in LANA designed to streamline lead follow-up. It allows your workflow to automatically dial your LANA phone number while simultaneously connecting to the customer. This feature empowers businesses to respond to leads faster and more effectively.
Use Case for Call Connect
The Call Connect feature is perfect for businesses looking to enhance their response time to customer inquiries. Here’s how it can be applied:
- When a lead submits a contact form or interacts with other LANA forms, the Call Connect step at the end of the workflow triggers a call to both you and the lead.
- By immediately connecting with the lead, you increase your chances of closing the deal.
- For after-hours or weekend submissions, a wait step ensures the call connects only during your operational hours, maintaining professionalism while improving efficiency.
Key Components of Call Connect
Call Whisper:
- A customizable message that plays when you answer the call.
- This message provides quick context about the lead before you connect.
- Example: "New lead from Contact Form. Press any key to connect."
Call Timeout:
- Determines how long the system waits for someone to answer before dropping the call.
- Example: If set to 20 seconds, the call will disconnect if there’s no response within that time.
Advanced Settings:
Disable Voicemail Detect:
By default, LANA attempts to identify whether a person or voicemail answers the call.- If voicemail detection is enabled, a slight delay occurs before the call connects.
- If detection is turned off, the call connects instantly, but the workflow stops as soon as someone—or voicemail—answers.
- Tip: Use a Call Timeout of less than 20 seconds when disabling voicemail detection to prevent voicemail from answering.
Connect Call After Keypress:
This setting prompts you to press a key to accept the call. If you decide not to proceed, the workflow moves on without connecting to the lead.
